September 11-12th, in Villers-Saint-Christophe (Aisne)

Potato Europe returns to France in September 2024

Potato Europe, the European trade show for the potato sector, returns to France in 2024 after three editions abroad. The event will be held on September 11th and 12th, 2024 at the ARVALIS experimental station of Villers-Saint-Christophe (Aisne).

Nearly 15,000 visitors are expected at the 2-day event, which will take place on a 40-hectare site featuring several areas: simplified and combined harvesting sites, reception sites, optical sorting sites, a trade area and an exhibitors' village (institutional and industrial). "One of these areas will be dedicated to the presentation of the latest innovations. These new technologies are the fruit of research carried out by the potato sector, in order to respond to the increasingly difficult constraints on production. On the institutional side, the major innovation of this 2024 edition is the grouping together of SEMAE, GIPT and CNIPT under a single banner. A joint stand will reflect the unity of the various interprofessions and showcase the excellence of French professionals. Professional teams will be on hand to welcome visitors and answer their questions. To celebrate this major event for the French potato sector, the interprofessions are organizing a festive evening on Wednesday September 11th. Invitations will be issued shortly," as announced by CNIPT in Pomme de Terre Hebdo of June 27th.
