Durian claw machines return to Singapore

In Singapore, the durian season has heralded the return of durian claw machines at various locations, including a Play United outlet in Hougang Mall and night markets near Yishun MRT and Fajar LRT stations in Bukit Panjang.

The machines, which allow players to attempt to catch durians, charge $2 for two tokens, with larger bundles of tokens available at discounted rates. A notable success story involves a content creator, Valentino, who, along with a friend, secured nine durians at the Yishun night market, drawing significant attention on social media platforms Instagram and TikTok.
