"The campaign for seedless table grapes is underway, which once again puts us in the first place in Europe with two more varieties that were developed by Bloom Fresh. We launched the commercial campaign for seedless table grapes on 22 June with a specialty and premium variety, the Candy Snaps™ and the Sweet Globe™. The former is a red grape with unique quality characteristics and exceptional crispness, with an intense and distinctive strawberry aftertaste. Children especially like it for its sparkling sweetness that never wears off," says Giuseppe Auteri, commercial director of the Sicilian OP Il Galletto, based in Palagonia (Catania).

The second is a white table grape, grown in a perfect microclimate to enhance its organoleptic qualities and the size of the berry, which is large, crisp, with sweet and persistent taste on the palate, uniform clusters.
"Our company," says Giuseppe Auteri, "has done its best, investing resources and energy in the management of this super early variety, of which we are the forerunners in Europe, thanks to the wise guidance of Pietro Scafidi (Technical Manager EMEA of Bloom Fresh) and the constant presence of our field technician Lillo Carmina, agronomist of Agriproject Group Srl. We have invested a lot in this variety, but our efforts have been rewarded with a production of unparalleled quality."

"We're especially proud to offer our customers seedless grapes with a commercial calendar from June to December. The care and attention we put into the operation of the new facilities has also improved the production of traditional varieties of table grapes. We are talking about seedless grapes, which have reached an exceptional level of quality this year. In order to make the most of them on the market, we have also invested in sustainable packaging with a low environmental impact."
"We have registered our trademark Miragolosa according to European standards, which we created specifically to emphasize the uniqueness of these seedless grapes," continues Giuseppe Auteri, "that is to say, a gourmet miracle, but above all, we have chosen only materials that reflect our intentions in terms of Corporate Responsibility, so these are all materials made of paper, from the shopping bags to the boxes that contain the fruit."
"Together with a well-known large retail chain," concludes Giuseppe Auteri, "we have also created Miragolosa-branded display islands, which have been a great commercial success, but more importantly, have created consumer loyalty and increased product recognition. This is a project that we would like to replicate in other large retail chains. The results obtained once again confirm the wisdom of the choice we made to convert our vineyards from seeded to seedless grapes (which currently represent about 70% of our production). But above all, we have focused on varieties that enhance the taste. For us, taste is the key, beyond the size of the berries, the crunchiness and the shape of the clusters."
Over the years, OP Il Galletto has managed to maintain high standards of certified quality at a fair price/quality ratio. Faced with huge investments, the cooperative offers high-quality fruit to the markets, trying to remain competitive. The foreign markets are France, Holland, Switzerland and Germany.
