Sunkist is proud to be one of the longest-standing agricultural co-ops in the U.S. It all started back in 1893 with the Southern California Fruit Exchange, which united local growers to sell and market their oranges that were eventually branded as "Sunkist." In 1952, the organization officially became Sunkist Growers. Since those early days, the brand has continued to grow and has been synonymous with high-quality citrus from California and Arizona.
Sunkist strives to be a one-stop shop, providing a consistent supply of in-season organic citrus throughout the year including oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and mandarins. It has also been actively adding new organic growers to its Sunkist family.

According to a recent survey of organic shoppers, nearly one-third of these consumers place a higher priority on organic fruit compared to other organic products and express a strong interest in learning about organic farming practices. Similar to citrus enthusiasts, they also appreciate well-executed in-store promotions and displays.
For over 20 years, Sunkist has provided USDA-certified organic citrus, offering marketing tools and shopper-marketing programs. With one in four consumers always choosing organic when available, interest in food origin and traceability remains high.
Equipped with relevant data and unique category insights, the company's sales team collaborates with customers to deliver tailored marketing support. It offers a range of bulk and bag items across all organic citrus varieties, including organic display masters, full cartons, and multiple bag styles and sizes. In response to the increasing demand from both customers and consumers, it is also introducing new giro packaging for Organic Cara Cara, Blood, and Valencia oranges this season.
