At the Russia-Latvia border in the Sebezhsky District of Pskov Region, a state inspector from the Territorial Administration of Rosselkhoznadzor conducted a quarantine phytosanitary inspection of 20.2 tons of fresh apples grown in the Republic of Moldova.
During the documentary inspection, the specialist found that the fruit's phytosanitary certificate did not include the name and address of the producer of the quarantined products.
As a result, the import of the apples into the Russian Federation was prohibited.
