First NLC truck delivers Pakistani mangoes to Tashkent

In an update from the logistics sector, the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) has achieved a new milestone by delivering its first truckload of mangoes to Tashkent. The consignment, comprising 15 tonnes of the fruit, was transported in a reefer container to preserve its nutritional value. The journey commenced from Hyderabad, spanning a distance of 2500 kilometres and concluding in Tashkent within a span of six days.

This operation marks a significant step for Pakistan's agriculture sector, facilitating the export of the 'king of fruits' to Central Asian States. Prior to this venture, NLC trucks have been instrumental in transporting fruits and vegetables to various destinations, ensuring optimal conditions for the commodities. The service offers traders an avenue to export perishable goods under controlled environments, potentially enhancing Pakistan's foreign exchange earnings.
