The charts provide graphic representation of the volume and prices of the major commodities this week based on seasonal volume.
Avocados supplies from Mexico crossing through Texas are peaking on smaller sized fruit 60-84s, causing pressure to drop prices. The larger sized fruit 32-36s continue to hold prices as availability is tight. Shippers do not expect a change to sizing anytime soon. Trading of 32-40s is moderate, others are fairly light. Prices of conventional 40s and organic 48s are generally unchanged, others are lower. Cartons 2 layers Hass 32-40s are mostly 68.25-70.25, 48s are mostly 66.25- 68.25, 60s are mostly 44.25-46.25, 70s are mostly 34.25-36.25, and 84s are mostly 26.25-28.25; organic 48s are mostly 73.25-76.25, 60s are mostly 66.25-68.25, and 70s are mostly 56.25- 58.25. Extra services are included. There remains a wide range in price.

Blueberry movement from Washington and Oregon is expected to decrease seasonally as the season is expected to wrap up in the next two weeks. Trading is moderate, supplies are tightening. Flats 12 6-oz cups with lids medium-large are mostly 14.00-16.00, flats 12 1-pint cups with lids medium-large are mostly 20.00-22.00; organic flats 6-oz cups with lids medium-large are mostly 18.00-20.00, 12 1-pint cups are mostly 29.00- 31.00. Quality is variable due to rain.
Movement from Michigan is expected to decrease seasonally. Trading early was moderate, however demand for Labor Day holiday advertisements nearly exceeds supply. Prices are slightly higher. Flats 12/1-pt cups with lids large are mostly 22.00-24.00. Quality is generally good. Movement from British Columbia Canada crossings through Northwest Washington is expected to decrease sharply as heavy rain effected quality and condition of the berries. Most berries are not meeting Canada One quality and are not able to be sold to the fresh market. Trading is moderate. Prices of 12 1-pint cups are higher, 12 6-oz cups are generally unchanged. Canada One flats 12 6-oz cups with lids medium-large are mostly 14.00-16.00, flats 12 1-pint cups with lids medium-large are mostly 18.00-20.00.
