Tozer presents an extensive vegetable seeds catalog at its Dutch Field Trials

Following last year's success, independent multinational seed company Tozer is participating in this year's Seed Meets Technology event in the Netherlands. On this occasion, the company will showcase a large selection of more than 100 innovative vegetable seed varieties in its 1,300 mĀ² test field.

As a leader in celery, Tozer has given this crop a prominent place in its Dutch testing grounds. Among its extensive catalog, the mid-season hybrid Cleopatra stands out as a market favorite. It is particularly good for prepacking, has a great color, and performs especially well in an unpredictable early season.

Cruciferae will also be in the spotlight at Tozer's Dutch Field Trials. Visitors will be able to discover up to twenty varieties of kale, including new breeding lines of green cabbage and improved hybrids of Cavolo Nero, a contemporary range that stands out for its high versatility and great taste.

The company will also showcase innovative coriander varieties such as Bolero, Rumba, and Flamenco, its Sabre parsnips, fast-growing new KalettesĀ® (a hybrid between kale and Brussels sprouts), as well as improved lines of leek, spring onions, and arugula.

"We are very pleased with the quality and variety of the innovations that our visitors will see at our fields in the Netherlands. Customers and delegations from many different countries have already confirmed their attendance. I can't wait to welcome them all," stated Marcel Bloemendaal, Sales Director for Northern Europe at Tozer.

The Tozer team has also prepared a special surprise for professionals who visit their field in Aandijk on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25: a Happy Hour. On those days, visitors can taste an original celery gin and enjoy a gin and tonic or an English beer with the seedling experts from 4 to 5 pm.

Producers and professionals who wish to visit Tozer's Dutch Field Trials 2024 can book their appointments HERE.
