Clarebout Potatoes is acquiring a minority stake in Pomuni. This move provides Clarebout access to the fresh potato market, further diversifying the company, according to the Belgian newspaper De Tijd. Pomuni will continue to operate under the leadership of the Muyshondt family and has recently made significant investments in modernization and sustainability. The size of Clarebout's investment has not been disclosed, and the deal is still pending approval from competition authorities.
