Branston boosts its UK team with new general manager

Branston, a prominent UK potato supplier, has announced the appointment of Tanya Leonard as the new general manager for its Lincoln location, aligning with the company's expansion strategy. Leonard, who brings over two decades of experience in the fresh produce sector, steps into this role aiming to enhance operational efficiency, oversee the engineering function, and spearhead development and technological advancements within the company.

Leonard expressed enthusiasm for the dynamic nature of the industry and the innovative strides being made at Branston, particularly highlighting the progress of the mash and protein factories. She emphasized her commitment to mentorship and professional development within the company, drawing on her own early career challenges to inspire and support young talent. Leonard's appointment is part of a broader inclusion in the Branston family, as her daughter also joins the company as an HR administrator.

Jim Windle, CEO of Branston, commended Leonard's extensive background and vibrant leadership approach, noting these qualities as invaluable to the Lincoln team's future endeavors. The company anticipates Leonard's influence will be instrumental in its continued growth and operational advancement.
