Driscoll's sweetest batch blueberries returns to Australia

Driscoll's has announced the return of its Sweetest Batch Blueberries to Woolworths stores across Australia. This seasonal product is noted for its unique flavour profile. The blueberries, selected for their larger size, intense sweetness, and crisp texture, are cultivated in Coffs Harbour, Tolga, and South Australia, adhering to stringent quality standards for a superior taste.

Tyler Scofield, Driscoll's Production Manager, highlighted the innovation behind these berries, emphasizing the meticulous production process. "The Sweetest Batch Blueberries showcase our commitment to innovation in berry breeding," Scofield remarked. He further explained the significance of the Arana variety, central to the Sweetest Batch, known for its adaptability to warm climates, enabling the cultivation of larger, flavourful blueberries in the spring season.

Scofield also pointed out the Arana variety's unique qualities, including its resilience and exceptional flavour profile, as a result of dedicated breeding efforts. "This variety has been specifically bred for its resilience and superior flavour profile, and we're proud to offer something that's not only delicious but also the result of years of dedicated breeding and natural selection," he added. Driscoll's aims to deliver a satisfying experience with each berry, fulfilling their goal of making people happy with every bite.
