Belgian manufacturer launches new potato cutting machine

FAM STUMABO, based in Belgium, has introduced the SureTec 240P, a cutting machine tailored for the potato industry. This machine is capable of slicing and dicing potatoes at high volumes, catering to the production of French fries. It incorporates the SureCut Unit (SCU), enabling the assembly of cutting components into a single unit with a predefined size. This design simplifies the installation process for operators, ensuring immediate precision in cutting and optimizing production efficiency.

The SureTec 240P is equipped with features such as a slipper clutch and a slip detection system, which protect against downtime and damage caused by foreign objects. Additionally, its electrical cabinet is designed for quick access to the drive area, facilitating maintenance. Capable of handling both white and sweet potatoes, the machine offers versatility in processing, whether the potatoes are abrasive or steam-peeled. It supports a range of cut sizes and shapes, including crinkle and flat cuts, and accommodates long potatoes with its 240 mm wide drum. Different impellers are available to align various product sizes accurately.
