Pakistan's secure logistics group partners with Maersk

Secure Logistics Group Limited (SLGL) from Pakistan has formalized an agreement to offer transport services to Maersk West and Central Asia Limited, as disclosed in a recent stock filing. This collaboration marks SLG's integration as a Transport Service Provider for Maersk, reflecting its ambition to emerge as a prominent Logistic Services Provider within the domestic market. Furthermore, SLGL is in ongoing negotiations with Maersk to expand their partnership under SLG's TIR License, aiming to commence service provision in regional markets, notably the Central Asian countries.

SLGL has communicated this development to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), emphasizing its commitment to transparency and the continuous update of its shareholders and the general public regarding business operations. The announcement follows Maersk West and Central Asia Limited's decision last month to select Secure Logistics Group Limited as its onshore logistics ally, underscoring the evolving logistics dynamics in the region.
