Last year, Kompany successfully started growing cucumbers in Spain. This achievement was made possible by constructing a new greenhouse and welcoming a Spanish member into the cooperative.

The continued success is evident, as the acreage of Spanish cucumbers at Kompany is expanding further this year. "Our options are diverse. While we mainly focus on retail, there are always opportunities to buy cucumbers daily. We offer cucumbers directly from Spain, and we can load them at our distribution center in Venlo. Starting this year, the Spanish cucumbers are also available in the familiar 'Ev'ryday' packaging, now with a Spanish twist!"
The first Spanish cucumbers will be available from this week (Thursday, October 24, 2024) at Kompany.
