In 2024, the export of autumn fruits from Abkhazia to Russia - including tangerines, feijoas, and persimmons - has significantly increased. Tangerine shipments grew by 12%, feijoas by 64%, and persimmons by 75%, according to TASS, citing data from the State Customs Committee of the republic.

The statistics department of the State Customs Committee reported that since the beginning of October, 687.2 tons of tangerines have been exported to Russia, which is 86 tons more than the same period last year.
