In the first half of the year, Kyrgyzstan imports 150,500 tons of apples, pears, and dried fruit

Over 6 months in 2024, Kyrgyzstan has imported 150,500 tons of apples, pears, and dried fruit, according to the Ministry of Agriculture. Most of these imports, accounting for 97% of the total volume, hailed predominantly from China and Uzbekistan.

China leads the pack, supplying 91,900 tons, which translates to 61% of the total imports. Following closely, Uzbekistan contributed 54,900 tons of these fruits, making up 36% of the imports.

Other countries, including Iran, Russia, and Pakistan, provided minimal quantities, collectively amounting to about 3% of the imports: Iran at 2,100 tons, Russia at 1,400 tons, and Pakistan at a mere 200 tons.
