Camposol and Agrovision have leveraged the newly opened Chancay Megaport to expedite their blueberry exports to the Asian market, particularly China. Camposol has recently completed its inaugural shipment of nine containers of blueberries to Shanghai, utilizing the Peruvian terminal's capabilities. Ricardo Naranjo Fernández, interim CEO of Camposol, highlighted the shipment as a collaborative effort aimed at delivering fresh, high-quality produce to strategic markets. The company attributes its success to its commitment to excellence, sustainability, and the growth of the agroindustry, emphasizing the careful cultivation and selection of its blueberries to ensure optimal freshness, size, and flavor.
Similarly, Agrovision Peru has utilized the Chancay Megaport for its first shipment of 18 containers of blueberries to China. The shipment, carried by the Xin Shangai 150W vessel, consists of 230 metric tons of Peruvian blueberries, expected to reach its destination in an average of 26 days, reducing transit time by approximately 10 days. This efficiency gain is anticipated to maintain the fruit's quality and flavor integrity. Agrovision expressed enthusiasm for this development, noting its potential to streamline trade processes with Asia.
