Schuiling invests in advanced automation for seed potato packaging

Maatschap Schuiling, led by brothers Wietze and Gosse, is an agricultural family business focused on seed potatoes. What began with their grandfather after the war has grown into a flexible company delivering custom solutions to clients like Agrico and exporters. The focus on variable orders and packaging requires flexibility, while labor shortages and scaling challenges add further complexity.

To address these challenges, Schuiling invested in advanced machines from Eqraft, including Combination Weigher, Baxmatic, and Sewing Lane. This packaging line handles various bag sizes and materials, efficiently processing even heavy 50-kilogram bags. Automation enables the company to adapt quickly and meet market demands.

With a capacity of 15 to 20 tons per hour, Schuiling strengthens its position in the industry. This investment aligns with their philosophy of quality and innovation, continuing their grandfather's vision and preparing the company for the future.
