Azerbaijani investors to establish a fruit nursery in Dagestan

The Dagestan branch of the Russian Agricultural Center and the Azerbaijani company ISFA have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of horticulture. The agreement outlines plans to create a large fruit nursery in the republic and to plant orchards covering a total area of 53 hectares.

The new nursery will specialize in growing seedlings of various crops, including cherries, apricots, nectarines, peaches, and olives. Azerbaijani investors, who had previously announced investments in a high-tech project, will act as the main financial partners.

The Dagestan branch of the Russian Agricultural Center will ensure the certification of seedlings used in the creation of the nursery.
