Kyrgyzstan’s fresh fruit exports decline in 2024

According to the National Statistics Committee, Kyrgyzstan exported 2,520.7 tons of fresh fruit worth $1,744,400 between January and November 2024. This is a decrease compared to 2023 when exports totaled 4,230.8 tons, valued at $2,419,600.

Kazakhstan remained the largest buyer, importing 1,701.6 tons of fresh fruit for $1,147,300 in 2024. This is slightly more than the 1,662.8 tons purchased in 2023, though the value of exports was higher last year at $1,222,600.

Exports to Russia saw a sharp decline. In 2024, Kyrgyzstan exported only 806.4 tons worth $575,600–3.2 times less than the same period in 2023, when shipments totaled 2,567.7 tons, valued at $1,195,600.

Meanwhile, in 2024, Uzbekistan imported 12.5 tons of Kyrgyz fresh fruit for $21,400. No exports to Uzbekistan were recorded in 2023.
