Nile Valley Srl is a newly established company specializing in the marketing of Egyptian products. Unlike a traditional trading company, Nile Valley is closely linked to a single Egyptian producer and distributes its products in Italy, Europe, and the rest of the world. The company does not buy from multiple suppliers but dedicates itself exclusively to the distribution of the goods of this specific producer.
The main product currently exported is Valencia oranges. "Three weeks ago, I went to Egypt together with Alessio Chiabrando and Mohamed Ghonim to supervise the first shipments and assess the quality and the production process," says Enzo Garnero, co-founder of the company. "I can say that the country has an extraordinary production potential. It is difficult to fully understand this without visiting the country and experiencing it first-hand."
In the coming months, Nile Valley will expand its offer to include grapes, pomegranates, and sweet potatoes, among others.
"We have already made several shipments to international markets. The first containers of oranges arrived in Southeast Asia earlier this week and received very positive feedback, which encourages us to continue growing. Oranges are shipped from Egypt pre-packed, mainly in 15 kg cartons, which is the international standard."
"The first arrivals for the Italian market are expected by the end of next week, ready for distribution. We are also finalizing agreements for supplies to Spain and negotiating with other EU countries, plus there are shipments to Asia and Central America."
"Between the shipments already made and the orders for next week, we have reached about 50 containers. We expect to maintain a high quality until mid-May, with excellent results also in terms of volume."
