Worldwide Fruit is introducing a new, smaller version of its popular Jazz apples, grown in the UK, as the company celebrates the brand's rise to become the fifth-largest apple variety in the country.
The new Jazz Juniors will hit selected retail stores at the end of March. The bite-sized apples are being launched following the success of last year's Jazz Apple Van Festival roadshow, where the mini apples proved particularly popular with children.

The naturally small apples will be sold in packs of six, complete with distinctive branding. According to Worldwide Fruit, the Jazz Juniors are "perfectly sized for kids and all those snacking moments in between." The introduction of Jazz Juniors also supports growers by making use of more of the crop and reducing food waste, as smaller-sized fruit can now be marketed to consumers.
The current British Jazz apple season got underway in November, marked by a promotional campaign featuring brand ambassador and Olympian Jazmin Sawyers. The brand also enjoyed recognition at the National Fruit Show, where grower Chandler & Dunn scooped seven awards for their Jazz apples, including the coveted Best in Show.
Hannah McIlfatrick, commercial director of Worldwide Fruit, commented: "It's fantastic news to announce the launch of our Jazz Juniors in selected retailers with the British season currently in full swing. The launch helps build on the success the brand has already achieved and sets us up perfectly for the remaining months of the British season. "These superb Jazz Juniors provide that unmistakable Jazz tangy-sweet taste that we all know and love, but they come in smaller sizes perfect for children and snacking opportunities."
