Peru’s Export Association (ADEX) revealed that food exports from Ancash amounted to 206,329 dollars between January and July of this year. This is an increase of 15% compared to the same period in 2021.
Dante Cruz, director of Foreign Trade and Tourism, stated that there was an increased international interest in agave, mango, strawberry and pineapple, among others. The offer also included native potatoes, blueberries, dairy products such as cheese and yogurt, granola made from Andean grains, cushuro jam, and more.
