An example of this commitment to environmental sustainability is that made by The Natural Fruit Company, the last company to join EsAgua, a network of companies committed to the sustainable use of water and the measurement of the water footprint.

Currently, The Natural Fruit Company operates ten packaging facilities with an aggregate capacity of 350,000 tons. Four of them are located in the Region of Murcia. The ones in Alhama de Murcia and Torreagüera are specialized in conventional lemon, and the ones in Alquerías and Los Ramos are dedicated exclusively to organic lemon and orange."

Fruits that don't waste a drop of water
The Natural Fruit Company has a specialized technical team in the field of sustainable water management, which works every day to reduce the water footprint with two main actions, the calculation of the water footprint and planning how to efficiently use water resources.
The management and sanitation of the water used in much of its production process is a good example of this. To achieve this, The Natural Fruit Company has two wastewater treatment plants, in which they treat part of the water used in the processing of their products.
