The "Capital" Market is joining the World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM). This is a unique platform that unites 220 participants - mainly wholesale and retail markets for fresh produce.
Representatives of this organization are located in 46 countries and provide 50% of the world's trade in fresh vegetables and fruits.
The goal of WUWM is to constantly modernize the food sector, which includes ensuring food security, improving the supply chain of fresh food products, and striving for food systems that minimally harm the environment.
Joining the World Association of Wholesale Markets provides the "Capital" Market with the opportunity to cooperate with colleagues from different countries, and receive new knowledge and experience in the field of wholesale trade of agricultural products.
"The "Capital" Market is one of the leading trading platforms for fresh produce in the Kyiv region. We have organized continuous delivery of fresh food in technologically equipped pavilions. We ensure temperature storage regimes of products and strictly adhere to veterinary and phytosanitary control, as well as sanitary norms. We are constantly improving to meet the challenges of the 21st century," said Vyacheslav Zabelin, the first deputy director of the "Capital" Market.
