During the first week of May, the agricultural supervision specialists branch checked almost 5.9 thousand tons of fresh vegetables and fruits imported to the Primorsky Krai from China.
According to the agency, the import of fruits and vegetables has increased by almost 628.1 tons within a week. At border crossings, specialists checked the imports of 1.1 tons of tomatoes, aubergines, peppers, zucchinis, beets and other vegetables. 1.3 thousand tons of onions, 345 tons of cucumbers, and 564 tons of carrots were imported from China. In addition, legumes, bell peppers, corn, mushrooms, potatoes, fresh greens and salads were imported to the region. Also, 721 tons of fresh fruit were obtained.
It should be noted that a significant proportion of fruits in Primorsky Krai came from Latin American and South African countries in the last weeks of April.
