Bangladesh Government Govt fixes prices of potatoes, onions and other basics

The Government of Bangladesh has fixed the prices of of potatoes, onions and other basic items such as sugar and eggs.

Led by the Ministry of Commerce on advise from the country's Agriculture and Fisheries Ministries the prices are fixed.

Onion prices increased after extra export duties by India with the Bangladesh Government set to monitor the implementation of the fixed prices countrywide.
