The export of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan increased by 49.6% in just one week

From September 8 to 14, 2023, the staff of the Plant Quarantine Department conducted phytosanitary control over 5,304 tons of domestic agricultural products destined for export, according to the Ministry of Agriculture's press service.

During this period, the export of pre-quarantined products surged by 49.6%, rising from 3,544 tons to 5,304 tons.

From the Chui region, 1,275 tons of fruits were exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus. In the Talas region, the main exports comprised Bulgarian peppers, totaling 901.4 tons, and heading to Russia and Kazakhstan. Meanwhile, the Batken region exported 844 tons of vegetables to Uzbekistan. The Issyk-Kul region contributed 121 tons of products to the export market, primarily fruits, to Kazakhstan and Russia.
