Belstat sums up the interim results of the Belarusian agro-industrial complex's performance for January-October 2023.
The harvesting of potatoes in agricultural organizations of the republic is almost complete. As of November 1, 2023, 827.2 thousand tons of potatoes were harvested, which is 7.9% more than on the corresponding date of the previous year, with an average yield of 358 hundredweight per hectare (on November 1, 2022, it was 299 hundredweight).
As for vegetables, by the beginning of November of this year, vegetables had been harvested from 92.3% of the areas. Their production amounted to 179.9 thousand tons with an average yield of 329 hundredweight per hectare (on November 1, 2022, it was 316 hundredweight).
