In the Komi Republic, tomatoes emerged as the leaders in price growth in October, while cucumber prices experienced a decline during the same period.
According to data from Komistat, food products saw an overall price increase of 1.3% in the tenth month of this year. This uptick affected various food items. In October, the following products experienced a price hike:
- Tomatoes: +51%
- Garlic: +16%
- Oranges: +6%
- Fresh herbs, beets, frozen vegetables, nuts, and dried fruits: +2-3%.
- However, some fruits and vegetables have become more affordable:
- Cucumbers: -15%
- Potatoes: -7%
- Apples: -6%
- Pears: -5%
- Cabbage: -4%
- Carrots, onions: -2-3%.
