From January 29 to February 4, Primorsky Krai received 7,025.5 tons of fresh vegetables, fruits, and berries from various countries. For the second consecutive week, the import of fruits and vegetables has increased by over 1,000 tons, according to RIA VladNews, citing the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
During this reporting period, 5,664.9 tons of fruits and vegetables were imported from China alone, including 2,749.1 tons of fresh fruits and berries. It's worth noting that the previous week saw 5,164.4 tons of produce imported from China.
Additionally, Primorsky Krai received 1,040.2 tons of bananas from Ecuador (almost doubling banana imports in a week), 292.1 tons of mandarins from Pakistan, and 28.3 tons of grapes from India.
All pre-quarantine products have been approved for import by inspectors of the Primorsky Interregional Administration of Rosselkhoznadzor following quarantine phytosanitary control.
