From February 26 to March 3, Primorsky Krai of Russia received 8,103.1 tons of fresh vegetables, fruits, and berries from various countries worldwide. Compared to the previous week, deliveries increased by 2,463 tons, according to the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
During the past week, 6,041.1 tons of fruits and vegetables were imported from China, including 2,522.4 tons of fresh fruits and berries. The previous week saw the import of 5,350.3 tons of fresh vegetables, fruits, berries, and greens.
Additionally, 1,156.7 tons of bananas from Ecuador, 186.5 tons of mandarins from Pakistan, 150 tons of oranges and lemons from Egypt, 144.2 tons of grapes from India, and 109.2 tons of pears and apples from South Africa and Turkey, but originating from the Republic of Korea, were delivered to Primorsky Krai.
Moreover, potato shipments from Pakistan have resumed. Last week, 315.4 tons of potatoes from this country were delivered to the region. It is worth noting that the last time potatoes from Pakistan were delivered to Primorsky Krai was in July 2023.
