"We believe that disposable USB temperature and humidity loggers have greater market potential than networked loggers"

Recently, container shipping prices have soared due to global shipping capacity shortages and port congestion. Currently, the shipping price from China to European basic ports has reached US$9,000 per container. Additionally, the uncertainty of shipping times and delayed arrivals at ports have posed significant challenges for fruit and vegetable traders. As a result, the market demand for temperature loggers for the fruit and vegetable cold chain has grown significantly.

METECH disposable loggers are a hot-selling product from Beijing Sino-Agricultural Biosciences. According to Siya from the company, "The 4G temperature and humidity logger series is not perfect enough, and the network does not cover enough areas. Particularly in the unstable environment of the chip industry, manufacturing costs have increased. Therefore, we have suspended sales of 4G products and are focusing on promoting and selling the basic METECH series."

"Our METECH loggers use TI digital temperature sensors, offering high-temperature accuracy and consistency. The temperature measurement range is -30°C to +70°C, with an accuracy of ±0.5°C/0.9°F and a resolution of 0.01°C/°F. The maximum capacity of this logger is 14,400 records, with a recording period of up to 120 days," Siya explained. "The key feature of the METECH disposable logger with a USB interface is its ease of use in scenarios without an Internet connection. Customers only need to plug the device into a computer, and the PDF temperature report is automatically generated without any software or reader. Additionally, because the USB temperature logger is not connected to the Internet, it is 6 to 10 times cheaper than the 4G series products, making it more cost-effective for fruit and vegetable customers in the cold chain sector."

Regarding future market supply and demand expectations for temperature and humidity loggers, Siya stated, "We anticipate that the tight shipping capacity will continue for some time, especially as it is the peak season for fruits in the Northern Hemisphere. Therefore, we do not expect the market demand for temperature and humidity loggers to decline in the short term."
