'Foodstuffs, Fruits and Vegetables Market' is critical entry point for Chilean food companies

Dubai and Chile enhance trade and investment ties

The Dubai International Chamber recently emphasized the need for enhanced investment and trade collaboration between Dubai and Chile's business sectors. This follows the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the United Arab Emirates and Chile. A business forum at Dubai Chambers headquarters, attended by Chile's President, Gabriel Boric Font, and delegates from both government and business sectors, served as the platform for this announcement.

During the forum, President Boric Font acknowledged the deep-rooted relationship between the UAE and Chile, noting the advancements in their relations and Chile's intention to broaden economic cooperation. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the Chamber's Chairman, assured support for Chilean firms to leverage Dubai's status as a leading trade and logistics hub. He highlighted Dubai's 'Foodstuffs, Fruits and Vegetables Market,' the largest of its kind, as a critical entry point for Chilean food companies aiming to reach global markets through Dubai.
