Moldovan plums and grapes are now being showcased on the shelves of supermarkets in Estonia. This was highlighted by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba, who shared a photo of the display on his social media page.
Moldovan table grapes are sold for €3.49 per kilogram, while plums are available at a discounted rate of €0.99 per kilogram, down from their previous price of €2.39 per kilogram. Alaiba expressed that the presence of Moldovan fruits in international supermarkets is a source of pride.
"We are accustomed to seeing our products across Europe, but it's even more gratifying to witness several types of Moldovan fruits displayed together. I still believe this is just the beginning. The vast European market presents opportunities for our country," stated Dumitru Alaiba.
