Drugs were hidden in vegetable shipment

Meth seizure in Georgia during traffic stop

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intercepted a substantial quantity of methamphetamine, totaling 1,300 kilos or around 2,866 pounds. The operation unfolded during a traffic stop in Dekalb County. The seized narcotics were discovered in a rented truck, which was transporting vegetables to a farmers market located in Forest Park. The interception occurred on I-285, in the vicinity of Atlanta.
