WEC Lines, Dutch shipping liner and owner, has opened their new Nantes office. The new office, located at 16 Quai Ernest Renaud, 44105 Nantes, France, is situated right in the centre of the city, overlooking the Loire River, further enhancing its ability to oversee all operational matters at the Port of Nantes Saint-Nazaire with an owned vessel calling this container terminal once a week.

Caesar Luikenaar, CEO WEC Lines, said, "We are delighted to inaugurate our new office in Nantes, France, a reflection of our commitment to solidify our short sea and deep sea operations in the French market. This expansion will allow us to serve the local market better and provide a sustainable, but fast and reliable alternative to road transport within France to/from the United Kingdom, Portugal and Spain. We aim to quickly develop Montoir-de-Bretagne into a full-stop port as part of our short sea network offering all types of containers including 45ft HCPW and 45ft refrigerated containers. We wish Office Manager Mr. Perrin and Supervisor Customer Services Mrs. Romane Cariou much success in this new adventure!"
WEC Lines' expansion into Nantes aligns with our mission to establish ourselves as true specialists in our geographical areas combined with a personal approach and is a testament to our dedication to providing high frequent, environmentally friendly container shipping solutions, avoiding road transport where possible while working towards a net-zero transport network by 2050.
