Potato harvest in Belarus expected to reach over 900,000 tonnes

In Belarus, potato harvesting is currently in full swing, utilizing every available day of good weather to ensure a high quantity and quality yield. To date, the country has harvested 280,000 tonnes of potatoes, expected to reach over 900,000 tonnes by the season's end. This year's harvesting pace surpasses that of the previous year, with an average yield of 313 c/ha, indicating a productive season. The volume of potatoes harvested is anticipated to satisfy domestic market demands and also cater to export needs. Completion of the harvesting operations is targeted for 15 October.
