Haiti terminal operations halted due to social unrest

In light of the recent social unrest in Haiti, which has disrupted normal operations at the terminal, a decision has been made to halt all new bookings to and from Haiti with immediate effect. This measure aims to prevent the accumulation of containers at the transshipment terminals.

For bookings that have already been confirmed but have not yet had a container assigned, stakeholders are advised not to position these containers until further notice. This is to mitigate additional costs or losses for both the customers and Maersk.

Containers that are currently in transit will be retained at their present port. The situation is under continuous review, and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
