This will be the 43rd year Catalytic Generators will participate in the IFPA show. "In 1981, we introduced ethylene generators for fruit ripening and degreening at the Produce Marketing Association's (PMA) convention," said Greg Akins, president & CEO.
Its sister company, QA Supplies, joined the show in 1995. Now the IFPA convention is one many companies consider one of the year's marquee events. "We exhibit worldwide, but it is always great to return each year to IFPA, with its amazing attendance and quality exhibits," said Akins.
The company will have its generators on display at the upcoming show.
On the Catalytic side, ethylene is its sole focus. "We concentrate on taking care of our customers, because without ethylene, they cannot market bananas or other tropicals, and without their business, our existence would be in jeopardy," added Akins. With this goal in mind, the company will display its generators at this year's show.

QA Supplies will showcase the latest in postharvest instruments. New this year is its 5G Cellular Transport Logger, offering real-time location and other parameters. Also, it will highlight the latest in non-destructive quality measurement devices. "We carry everything a fresh produce QC department will need, with most of it on display this year in Atlanta," said Akins.
The company will exhibit at booth C2728.
