Specialists in top fruit and melons join TripleF Fruit team

Since its founding in 2013 by Matthijs Nijhoff, TripleF Fruit has developed into an overseas fruit importer specializing in hard fruit, stone fruit, and soft fruit. The arrival of Raymond Roest and Frank Ocampo further strengthens and expands the solid foundation.

"Raymond Roest has run his own sorting and packing station for no less than 20 years and we have been working closely together for more than 15 years," says Matthijs Nijhoff, founder of TripleF Fruit. "His entrepreneurial experience, wide grower network, and extensive knowledge of the packing process will contribute greatly to the further growth and diversification of TripleF Fruit. In addition, Raymond will provide commercial support to our overseas hard fruit offering, which is an important part of our operations."

Frank Ocampo is also no stranger to TripleF Fruit and the overseas fruit industry. He has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and has always worked closely with various overseas suppliers and customers in all segments. "As a melon expert, Frank maintains strong relationships with melon industry growers on a global level. His brand, Franky's Choice, guarantees quality beyond the melon. Through years of close cooperation with seed breeding companies and melon growers worldwide, he has further developed the melon into a category product at the breeding/variety level. This is a valuable addition to our current range of overseas fruit," Matthijs Nijhoff said.

"The overseas melon season, which runs from week 35 to week 20, fits seamlessly with the existing range of overseas top fruit, stone fruit, and blueberries and offers new commercial opportunities. By responding closely to consumer demands and specializing in these, we continue to position ourselves as a strategic partner for both our customers and growers. With our extensive melon range, which allows us to offer year-round melons and watermelons, we further strengthen this position. Besides product knowledge, Frank and Raymond also bring collegiality and expertise in purchasing and sales. Both will play an important role in the further development and strategy of our overseas fruit offering with grower and customer focus," Matthijs concludes.
