The Uzbekistan Trade Development Company will compensate for transportation expenses for the export of fruit and vegetable products, as was reported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
The funds are provided to Uzbek exporting companies after the products are shipped abroad by air. The amount of payment depends on the destination country and the volume of goods.
For shipments from Uzbekistan to Russia, China, and Afghanistan, 13% of the cost will be paid. For exports to other countries (except those bordering Uzbekistan), the compensation will be 15%.
The Uzbekistan Trade Development Company was established by the March decree of the President of Uzbekistan under the management of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. It is responsible for the distribution of funds from the Uzbekistan Trade Promotion Fund, in particular - for subsidizing exports.
The organization covers expenses for transportation, rental of foreign offices, warehouses, commercial premises in Uzbekistan, insurance, and advertising. It also helps Uzbek businesses establish cooperation with foreign brands and attract foreign specialists.
