AM Fresh has positioned itself as the largest Spanish agricultural group. Since inorganic growth is one of the central axes of its expansion strategy, the group expects to invest 2,000 million euros in acquiring other companies in the sector over the next six years. The group has stated that it hopes to match the spending it has already made since 2019. One of the most notable acquisitions is the purchase of the Californian IFG for 1,600 million euros.
At the end of its last fiscal year in August, AM Fresh exceeded 2,000 million euros in sales, an achievement attributed to its international expansion, operating in 60 countries and partnering with 10 of the top 20 retailers worldwide. The company looks to the future with optimism and plans to reach a turnover of 3,000 million euros in 2028, which would represent a 50% increase in just four years. It also aims to raise that figure to €3,500 million by 2030.
"Our innovation has resulted in the certification of more than 100 licensed new fruit varieties with unique flavors and health benefits, such as increased antioxidant content, which are grown by more than 2,100 growers in 24 countries," the company says.
