Foodstuffs NZ figures for the five foods that were down the most in October year-on-year were: 1. Orange kumara -58%; 2. Crown pumpkin -52%; 3. Brown onions -51%; 4. Celery -38%; 5. Carrots -29%. Foodstuffs' produce experts say settled spring weather has delivered good volumes and value, with supplies of covered crops like tomatoes, cucumber and capsicums now starting to build, and berries and stone fruit making an early appearance ahead of the festive season.

New Delhi-based agri-startup Fresh From Farm (F3) has launched its private-label branded fruits in the Delhi NCR region, according to a company press release. Poland: Eurocash says it might not reach 2025 targets
Reuters reported: "Polish food retailer Eurocash might not be able to meet its financial targets for 2025, given the challenging market trends and its updated operational plans, it said. Particularly at risk are its core profit (EBITDA) target of 1bln zlotys ($243.1mln) and the revenue goal for its Frisco brand, also at 1bln zlotys (€230mln), published in 2022 as part of its 2025 strategy, Eurocash said in a statement".
