Forigo's innovation presented at Eima: watch the video!

An autonomous, electric robot that performs three tasks in one

EnerG by Forigo, a fully electric self-driving machine, was one of the most appreciated introductions at the recent Eima exhibition. The Mantua-based company made its debut at Eima with a piece of equipment capable of performing three operations simultaneously.

"It is equipped with a support frame with four steerable wheels," explains Federica Forigo, the company's marketing manager, "that allow it to move forward in any direction. The machine, which is fully electric, can support up to three pieces of agricultural equipment in the self-driving version, and up to two pieces of equipment with the driver on board."

Sandro Forigo, the creator of this technical novelty and partner-owner of the Roter Italia srl, adds that, "with a single operation, it will be possible to e.g. chop, till and sow the soil in an entirely eco-friendly manner, as there is no need for an endothermic engine. The machine is fully electric and self-sufficient in the fields."

The invention aims to limit processing problems, therefore reducing labour costs and eliminating fuels. The machine can be adjusted according to user needs, the type of processing and the results to be achieved.

EnerG not only winks at environmental sustainability, but also represents a significant technological breakthrough for manufacturers. The machine is equipped with two high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries that can guarantee long periods of operation in the fields without the need for frequent recharging.

It is equipped with advanced telediagnostic systems that allow the remote monitoring of operating conditions, including battery charge levels, component status and overall performance. This continuous collection of data makes it possible to predict and prevent breakdowns, scheduling maintenance only when necessary and improving reliability and durability.

In addition, the integrated self-driving system allows EnerG to operate autonomously in the fields, avoiding obstacles and optimising work routes. Its positioning system guarantees extreme accuracy, which is essential for increasingly targeted agricultural operations such as sowing, fertilising and weeding.

EnerG is equipped with sensors to scan the surrounding environment in real time, detect obstacles and prevent collisions, with clear benefits in terms of improved operational safety.
