The Karabudakhkent District of Dagestan, Russia, has recorded its largest grape harvest in the past 25 years, collecting over 26,300 tons. This is 1,200 tons more than in 2023, with an average yield of 141 centners per hectare.

More than 80% of the 2024 harvest has been sent to Dagestani wineries for processing.

The district is home to two large agricultural enterprises, over 50 farming businesses, and individual entrepreneurs, as well as more than 900 private households specializing in grape cultivation.
