An agreement has been signed between the Caspy Commodity Exchange (Kazakhstan) and the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange to simplify the trade of fresh fruits and vegetables. The signing took place during the "Commodity Exchange Market–2025" forum in Tashkent.
The document aims to integrate electronic trading platforms and develop cooperation in the exchange of agricultural goods, specifically fruits and vegetables. It is expected to support more transparent and faster cross-border trade in the Central Asian region.
The agreement also outlines joint efforts to simplify trade procedures and reduce transaction costs related to the movement of fresh produce.
"We plan to carry out research and analysis to better understand the dynamics of fruit and vegetable trade. Important areas include product quality standards, certification, and safety," said Murat Kadisov, President of Caspy Commodity Exchange.
Logistics and digital solutions related to fresh produce trading will also be part of the cooperation.
