Spain: Cold damage to citrus amounts to 75 million

The Unio de Llauradors reported damages(mainly in citrus) that amounted to 75 million Euro. This was due to low temperatures in the month of February; 70,000 hectares were affected, according to the group. On the other hand, yesterday
the Department of Agriculture launched a special inspections program in the field and in stores to prevent affected citrus trade. This citrus was damaged by the frost that swept through the Region, over the past few days.
