Urban Farming a reality at the Sydney Cooking School

The Sydney Cooking School has embraced urban farming by growing their own herbs for use in cooking classes. Chef and owner, Brett Deverall is passionate about the food he prepares and likes to use the freshest produce possible.

Brett decided that a self-contained growing system from Elevated Gardens was the way to go. He said, “I wanted to grow fresh, tasty produce for my cooking classes, but I wanted it to be easy. That is where Elevated Gardens comes in.” The solar powered, self-watering system operates for up to two months without the need to top up the water. Over watering is not possible because any excess water drains into the base of the growing tank.
