Krasnodar Magnit ranked fourth in Russia

Leading retail chains in Russia, i.e. Magnit and X5 Retail Group, are ranked fourth and fifth respectively in the list of 200 largest private companies in the country, published by Forbes magazine.

Yearly revenue of Magnit has increased from 131 billion rubles (2.62 billion Euro) to 579.7 billion rubles (11.6 billion Euro). Capitalization of the company has exceeded 1 billion rubles (20 million Euro), 217300 people are employed by the owner of the company Sergey Galitsky.
 
X5 revenue for the year has grown by 43.5 billion rubles (870 million Euro) and reached 534.6 billion rubles (10.7 million Euro). Capitalization of the network is 202.4 million rubles (4 million Euro), the number of employees equals 102100 people.

The company that heads the Forbes’ list is Lukoil, Surgutneftegas comes second and is followed by Vimpelcom.
